The Team of the Week package is one of the ways that EA Sports is trying to keep gamers engaged with FIFA 16 in the long term. For the first time, the list of included players is expanded to 23, with 12 of them in the reserves.

The selection includes the players who have managed to perform best during the series of matches, with the biggest stars that gamers can get access to being Kevin de Bruyne, Santi Cazorla, and Marek Hamsik. The package will go live in the store a few hours later, and EA Sports might also deliver changes for other player cards, based on the way they helped their national teams.

The attacking line of the Team of Week for FIFA 16 includes Fletcher and Al-Sahlawi. In midfield, EA Sports has selected the following players: Hamsik, De Bruyne, Cazorla, Moutinho, and Krychowiak. The defensive line is made up of Godin, Da Silva, and Jonashevich. The goalkeeper of the Team of the Week is De Gea.
